Smoked Old Fashioned

Ingredients

• 2 ozBourbon whiskey
• 0.25 ozDemerara syrup
• 3 dashAngostura bitters

Instructions

Place a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Add bourbon, demerara syrup, and bitters. Stir gently. Using a smoking gun or torch with wood chips (applewood or cherrywood), capture smoke in an inverted glass over the drink for 30 seconds. Lift and let smoke escape. Garnish with an expressed orange peel.
