- 1Sugar cube
- 3 dashesPeychaud's bitters

Instructions
Rinse a chilled rocks glass with a little absinthe, discarding the excess. In a mixing glass, muddle the sugar cube with the bitters and a few drops of water. Add rye whiskey and ice and stir until chilled. Strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass (no ice). Twist a lemon peel over the drink to express oils, then discard the peel.
